Highwire Creative is a boutique graphic design studio based in Austin, Texas, offering logo and website development for entrepreneurs and established small businesses. We build lasting partnerships with our clients and our personalized service allows us to function as an extension of your staff. Our established a network of business coaches, web programmers, photographers, copy writers, and marketing, advertising and public relations professionals are available for collaboration when clients’ projects require additional services. Typically, Highwire Creative will act as the interface to the client to ensure a streamlined process and the high level of service clients have come to expect.

Bella Guzmán

Highwire Creative was born out of Bella’s desire to offer more structure and a broader array of services to her freelance clients. A customer-focused graphic designer with extensive experience in graphic design and art direction, Bella has worked with Fortune 100 clients, growing start-ups, entrepreneurs and small business owners in the entertainment, manufacturing, real estate (commercial and residential), retail, coaching/consulting, publishing, marketing and nonprofit industries.

Bella honed her craft in Orlando, Florida, against a backdrop of theme parks and booming land developments. She continues to work in her area of expertise creating logos, marketing collateral and websites for start-ups and entrepreneurs in Austin and around the country.

Karen Barry

Karen Barry has been designing, brainstorming, reorganizing, and coding the world around her for the past 15+ years. She has a knack for marrying art and copy with her clients’ brands, a true passion for layout and typography, and brings a sense of comfort and ease to the creative development process.

Karen spent much of her career at The Austin Chronicle, where she wore many hats. As Production Manager, she led a team of talented designers and developers, art directed and managed the award-winning website, and collaborated on some of the most exciting and cutting edge ideas in the alternative press.

Simultaneously freelancing for local entrepreneurs and international organizations, as well as operating a wedding invitation and letterpress stationery business, it became clear that self-employment was the next step. Karen has enjoyed working with municipalities, universities, study abroad and scholarship programs, theatre companies, music labels, interior designers, and software companies.
